Israeli onslaught against the Palestinian people of Gaza is now on its 7th consecutive and deadly day--the death toll of Palestinians--men, women, and particularly children--rises by the hour--but, as Rafeef Ziadah says, "we teach life, sir," so here is the picture of a young Palestinian football fan, like me a Brazilian fan--picture was taken by Golbarg Bashi in Shatila Refuge camp in Beirut in June 2006, during the World Cup--when we were both there watching the games with friends--where it mattered most--the Brazilian flag was next to the Palestinian flag all over the shanty houses--both the defeated but defiant heroes of our time!
