" الجيش الإسرائيلي " نتوقع وجود عشرات الصواريخ من طراز M 302 بحوزة القسام ، والتي تم تهريبها إلى القطاع في نهاية سنة 2013 .
الصواريخ من طراز "m302" تعد الاكثر تطورا في الصواريخ متوسطة المدى على المستوى العسكري وتصل بنوعين: لمدى 100 كيلومتر ولمدى 200 كيلومتر.
الصاروخ غير مجهّز بنظام تحديد المواقع ("جي بي إس") أو بوسائل توجيه أخرى، ولذلك فالدقّة غير كبيرة: حين يتمّ إطلاقها إلى مدى نحو 100 كيلومتر فمن المتوقّع أن تنحرف بنحو كيلومتر واحد عن الهدف.
محملة برأس حربي يزن أكثر من 100 كيلوغرام، فإنّ ضررها بالأهداف غير المحمية كالمباني السكنية يمكن أن يكون قاسًّا وفتّاكًا.
ويضاف الى هذه المنظومة انها تستخدم كصواريخ ارض- ارض بمنصة محمولة أو ارضية لقصف اماكن ثابتة ومواقع عسكرية ايضا
